Rockstar’s GTA IV A Smash Hit and More

All anyone has to do is visit a few gaming forums or websites to know that Take-Two / Rockstar Games Grand Theft Auto IV is breaking sales records since it’s launch this week. Heck, it was even on mainstream news sites due to the popularity and anticipation of this much acclaimed addition to the Grand Theft Auto series.
It’s a HIT!!
But not all is well in Liberty City. It seems shortly after the games release there were scattered reports of the game freezing on PS3 gaming systems, and then a while later similar reports were made for Xbox 360 systems.
Speculation abounds but to date there isn’t a clear-cut reason for the freezing problem and no known fix either. Several ideas are being voiced on the Internet regarding the cause from it being a bad installation to a cache loading error or overheating. But it’s an erratic bug that hasn’t stayed still long enough to get squashed.
Affected gamers around the world eagerly anticipate a solution as Rockstar’s tech support team works around the clock to track down this chaotic gremlin.
Despite some technical issues most gamers are happily exploring Liberty City and revealing easter eggs, hints and phone numbers as they go.
