Fight as Onslaught
Win the game as any character under any difficulty
setting. Now, press highlight Wolverine and press Down at the
character selection screen. *** You can also be the mighty hand
after you die in the 1st round of vs. mode.
To get his 2nd form, select Onslaught at the character selection
screen. Press Select during the match to fight as his 2nd form
(Big Onslaught). This enables you to learn and control Big
Onslaught's moves.
Fight as Mech Zangief:
Highlight Zangief at the character selection screen, then hold
Select and press any button.
Use Sentinel as a special tag partner
Win the game as Onslaught. Now, highlight
Colossus and press Down at the special partner selection screen.
Use Shadow as a special tag partner:
Win the game as Chun Li or Shadow Lady. Now,
highlight Iceman and press Down at the special partner selection
screen.
Switch main character with your partner:
Hold L1 until the match begins to switch your main character with
your partner. This can be done in any mode.
Fight as Lilith
Win the game as Morrigan under any difficulty
setting. Now, highlight War Machine and press Down at the character
selection screen. The unlocked character can be saved to a memory
card.
Sakura appearance
In Honda's Bathhouse stage, throw your opponent into the extra room.
At the far right of the room, Sakura will be in a bathrobe, jumping
up and down with her fist in the air. Her best friend, Kei, will be
sitting next to her, trying to cover herself with her own bathrobe.
Call your special partner
Press 2P + 2K to call your special partner.
Selecting special partners:
*** The following codes must be entered while holding Start before
the special partner selection screen appears.
Unknown soldier: Hold Weak Punch
Lou: Hold Medium Punch
Arthur: Hold Weak Punch + Medium Punch
Saki: Hold High Punch
Ton-Pooh: Hold Weak Punch + High Punch
Devilot: Hold Medium Punch
Anita: Hold Weak Punch + Medium Punch + High Punch
Pure and Fur: Weak Kick
Michelle Heart: Hold Weak Punch + Weak Kick
Mighty Thor: Hold Weak Kick + Medium Punch
Cyclops: Hold Weak Punch + Weak Kick + Medium Punch
Magneto: Hold Weak Kick + High Punch
Storm: Hold Weak Punch + Weak Kick + High Punch

Secret partner attack:
Have your special meter gauge at level 3, then press Down,
Down/Back, Back + 3P + 3K. Your character call a partner (same as
your enemy). You will have your special meter gauge always full and
your partner will do his moves like a shadow. However, you only have
10 seconds to do your moves. *** This cannot be done with
Onslaught.
Secret stage:
Get a character with a good throw move, such as the Web Throw for
Spider-man and Venom. Play a versus mode battle on Honda's
Bath-house stage. Throw your opponent against the right wall twice.
The wall should break and an extra room with a tub in the background
should appear.
Do a special after the match is over:
Press Select + 3P or 3K to do a special after the match is over.

116-hit combo:
Select B.B. Hood, Iron Man , War Machine (in that order). Get your
gauge up to level 3, then take B.B. Hood to the corner and taje one
step to the front. Do all their hyper combos (L1 + L2). It should do
a 116-hit combo.
Megaman: Magnetic Shockwave
Win the game as Mega Man. Highlight Mega Man at
the character selection screen, then hold Select and press any
button. Release Select and choose either a partner or special hero.
Now, select easy mode. Get your Hyper Combo Gauge filled during a
match, then press Down, Down/Back, Back, 3P. Mega Man will do his
Magnetic Shockwave move. *** Use the "EX menu" code to keep your
gauge filled during the entire battle.
Fight as Red Venom
Win the game as Venom under any difficulty
setting. Now, highlight Chun Li and press Up at the character
selection screen. The unlocked character can be saved to a memory
card.
Spider-Man: Ultimate Web
Play as Spider-Man and choose any mode (beginner, easy, or manual).
Have your special meter gauge at level 1 or higher, then press Down,
Down/Back, Back + 3P.
Strider Hiryu: Stick to the wall:
Play as Strider Hiryu and choose any mode (beginner, easy, or
manual). Press Down, Down/Back, Back + P to stick to the wall. Press
Up to climb higher.
Strider Hiryu: Gold legion leopards and falcons:
When you want to fight with Strider, hold Select and press R2 to get
gold legion leopards and falcons.
Counter
To perform a counter press Back, Down/Back, Down, P while your
opponent is doing a move on you. Your partner will appear and break
the move your opponent is doing on you.
Fight with Akuma/Gouki's moves
Highlight Ryu at the character selection screen in any mode. Hold
Start and press any button. When game play begins, Ryu will be able
to do all of Akuma/Gouki's moves.
Fight with Ken's moves:
Highlight Ryu at the character selection screen in any mode. Hold
Select and press any button. When game play begins, Ryu will be able
to do all of Ken's moves.
Gambit: 99 hit combo
Select Gambit and Gambit as your fighters. During a match, get a
level 3 super combo gauge. Execute Gambit's Royal Flush, then after
about 23 hits, call in your partner (Gambit) and use the Double
Special (Double Royal Flush). If done correctly you will get 99 hits
and remove over half your opponent's health.
Gambit: Super double team combo
Select Gambit as you main character and Ryu as your partner. When
your special is at level 2 or higher, press Down, Down/Forward,
Forward to do a combo with a estimated of 50 to 60 total hits.
Ryu: Shin Shoryuu-Ken
Press Forward, Down, Down/Forward, Hard Punch to perform the Shin
Shoryuu-Ken. It takes out 60% of the health meter. You must be right
next to the opponent. If your opponent is in the air, he will
perform a big Dragon Upper Cut.
EX menu
Highlight the "Options" selection at the MAIN MENU, then hold Select
and press Start. The EX menu allows the hyper combo gauge, vitality
recovery speed, and human/CPU controls for players one and 2 to be
set.
Megaman: Combos
Set the game in beginner mode and repeatedly press R1 for the Mega
Buster. Your opponent will stay in the corner, but your hyper gauge
will keep rising . When begining a combo, hold R1 to charge your
Mega Buster and press Square, Square. Release R1, and uppercut for a
five hit combo.
Use the following trick for a 20-hit combo with X-Buster. When
fighting an opponent charge up your X-Buster for about 2 minutes,
then then blast your opponent with it. *** The longer you charge
up your X-Buster, the more hits you will do.
Akuma: Special
To zoom right and avoid hits, press Down, Right, Down/Right, 3K. To
zoom left and avoid hits, press Down, Right, Down/Right, 3P. The
special can bring you away and cover you from pain, but if you make
a mistake, it will bring you right into it.
Captain Commando: Sword 13 hit:
Near a stage wall, use the Down, Down/Forward, Forward + Punch move
to send your opponent flying up. Quickly walk under them and perform
the captain sword at the right moment to get a total of 13 hits
instead of 5.
Fight as Orange Hulk
Win the game as the Hulk under any difficulty
setting. Now, highlight Ryu and press Up at the character selection
screen. The unlocked character can be saved to a memory card.
Jin: Super taunt
Start a battle with Jin under the beginner difficulty setting.
During the battle, hold Select (taunt). While he is doing his taunt,
hold X. If timed correctly, he should put himself on fire. ***
This can be practiced in training mode.
Zangief: Ultra Final Atomic Buster
When Zangeif is regular (not Mech) do a 360 turn super kick with a
level 3 combo gauge while right next to your opponent. It will take
off 75% of the life meter. If you are Mech-Zangeif do the same move
with a level 1 combo gauge. He will fly in the air doing the
spinning fist move, bringing his opponent with him.
Jin: Stop Hulk's Gamma Crush
When in combat with the Hulk, he will unleash the mighty Gamma
Crush. When he is coming down, use the Great Cyclone (Saotome
Cyclone). This will grab him and cut off his attack.
Get your opponent's partner
Go to the OPTIONS MENU and set the difficulty to "1". Win a battle,
then hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 until the match begins. You will now
have your opponent's partner.
Zangief: Double Final Atomic Buster
Select Zangief or Mech-Zangief and either Venom, Red Venom, Hulk,
Orange Hulk, Zangief, or Mech-Zangief as your partner. Get your
combo meter up to 2, then press Down, Down/Towards, Towards, 2K +
2P. Zangief will run up to the opponent and try to grab him/her. If
successful, Zangief and your partner will fly into the air with your
opponent and deliver the Double Final Atomic Buster. This move takes
half of your opponent's energy away.
Jin: Double Hyper combo
Play as Jin in training mode under the beginner/easy difficulty
setting. Let Onslaught (first form) be the defending character.
Press L2 for his "Blodia Vulcan". Once it is on, start tapping L1.
If done correctly, he should do his "Blodia Punch" while doing his
"Blodia Vulcan". In other words, he will start shooting and punching
at the same time. *** This requires precise timing.
Fight as Shadow Lady
Win the game as Chun Li under any difficulty
setting. Now, highlight Gambit and press Down at the character
selection screen. The unlocked character can be saved to a memory
card.
Fight as Roll
Win the game as Megaman under any difficulty
setting. Now, highlight Megaman and press Right at the character
selection screen. The unlocked character can be saved to a memory
card.
Skip ending credits
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Select + Start during the ending credits.
Mega Man: Hyper combos
Hyper Mega Man: Press Down, Down/Toward, Toward, 3P.
Magnetic Shockwave: Press Down, Down/Away, Away, 3P.
Rush Drill: Press Down, Down/Toward, Toward, 3K.
Beat Plane: Press Down, Down/Away, Away, 3K.
Onslaught: Puppet move:
Use the following combo as Onslaught to have him puppet the same
character. Get your special gauge to level 2, then press Forward,
Forward/Down, Down, Down/Back, Back, 3K. You then get the same
character you are fighting with 2/3 life.
Ryu: Change moves and costume/outfit during fight:
Ryu can change moves and costume/outfit at any point during a fight in any
mode. Press Right, Down/Right, Down, Down/Left, Left (when facing
right) and press Medium Punch for Ken's moves, Hard Punch for
Akuma's, and Light Punch to get Ryu's moves back. They are all
basically the same, but Ken's Dragon Punch is always flaming and
Akuma's moves give electric shocks.
Akuma: Raging Dragon
To do the very damaging move, you must 1st have Ryu's Akuma mode
on. Now, get 3 hyper combo levels and press LP, LP, Right, LK,
HP. If done correctly, Ryu will zoom toward his opponent, grab the
enemy, and take away half of the life gauge.
Fight as Gold War Machine
Win the game as War Machine under any difficulty
setting. Now, highlight Zangief and press Up at the character
selection screen. The unlocked character can be saved to a memory
card.
