Guillermo del Toro comments (Special Edition)
Insert Disc 1. Select the "Introduction" option at the MAIN MENU and
watch it. After returning to the MAIN MENU, highlight the
"Introduction" option at the MAIN MENU and press Up to highlight
3 hidden "eggs". Press Enter to view a clip featuring Guillermo
Del Toro about how the cue cards in the introduction were difficult
for him to read.
Insert Disc 1. Enter the "Special Features" menu and highlight the
"Main Menu" and press Down to highlight hidden "eggs" at the top
left corner. Press Enter to view the comments. Press Left or Right
to view more of them.
Hidden animatic sequence (Special Edition)
Insert Disc 2. Select the "Kroenen's Lair" option at the main menu.
Select the "Animatics" option, then press Down, Down to highlight
3 hidden "eggs". Press Enter to view an animatic clip featuring
the soldiers before invading Scotland at the start of the movie.
Insert Disc 2. Select the "Kroenen's Lair" option at the main menu.
Select the "Board-A-Matic" option, then press Down, Down to
highlight 3 hidden "eggs". Press Enter to view a computer model
of the apocalypse.
Director Sounds Off
On disc one, go to the [Special Feature] section and highlight [Main Menu]. Press [Down] once and some demon eggs will appear in the upper left corner. Press [Enter].
Play the [Introduction] from the [Main Menu] first. When you go back to the [Main Menu], highlight the [Introduction] again and press [Up], then select the hidden option.
Unused movie poster (Special Edition)
Insert Disc 2. Enter the "Print Campaign" menu, then highlight the
"Final Campaign" option. Press Down to highlight 3 hidden
"eggs". Press Enter to view unused poster art from the movie.
DVD Production Credits
Highlight the above egg, but press [Down] instead of [Enter]. The crown will highlight. Press [Enter].
DVD credits (Special Edition)
Insert Disc 1. Enter the "Special Features" menu and highlight the
"Main Menu" and press Down to highlight hidden "eggs" at the top
left corner. Press Down to highlight the crown, then press Enter to
view the DVD's production credits.
Storyboard comparison (Special Edition)
Insert Disc 2. Select the "Kroenen's Lair" option at the main menu.
Select the "Scene Progression" option, then highlight the "Back"
option. Press Down to highlight 3 hidden "eggs". Press Enter to
view a storyboard to film comparison of various scenes.
Insert Disc 2. Select the "Kroenen's Lair" option at the main menu.
Select the "Storyboard Comparison" option, then press Down, Enter to
view a storyboard to film comparison of the space devil hatching
scene.
