In amateur mode do not bother passing too much. It is just an opportunity to lose the ball. However in world class you need to pass a lot to win.
On some master challenges you are not allowed to pass much because you have to score with the goalie. My advice is to make a goalie customized and put his attributes high. You will need ball control, sprint speed and acceleration at 99 to get past them.
Double stepover
How to: Cristiano Ronaldo and Robinho are considered by most to be the best 2 dribblers out there. Use the Trick Stick with either one to perform a double stepover. Press Forward, then rotate left and then right.
Easy goals with finesse shot
How to: You need to perform a finesse shot when one-on-one with the goalkeeper. This will trick him from going from one side to the other. Just fake right and shoot left or vice verse. You will make the shot nearly every time.
If you are outside the area and have the ball but not on your half, just look on the map to see how far the keeper is off his line. He is usually about 2 meters. Try to get the power right and you can lob him .

Unlockable Points
How to: You need to go to Tournament mode and pick any cup tournament. These work best for they are usually not as long. Pick the highest rated team or replace a team in the tournament with the best team from another league. Get to Tournament Central and quick sim all the games until you win the tournament. This will give you unlockable points to spend.
Money $$$ Money
How to: When playing as any team in Manager mode, buy the best free agents in the transfer market. Sell them during the same transfer market window so you do not have to pay the high salary. Because they are free to you, once you sell them you can get the added money to your account.
Full team stamina
How to: In Manager mode, save the game, quit, then load Manager mode again and all your players' stamina will be nearly refilled.
Preview unlockables
How to: Buy unlockable items but do not save your profile. Test the items and reload your profile and you will re-acquire the unlockable points. You can unlock and test all the unlockables in the game just by using this trick.
Finding Giovanni Dos Santos
How to: Go to Barcelona's reserve list and find Giovanni Dos Santos. You will see he is only 69 overall but you can edit his stats and make look him as good as Ronaldinho. This will give you 2 of the best midfielder's in the game.
Easy Wins
How to: You need to enter Start and go to "Select Sides" if you are losing a match. Change to the other team and shoot at your own net. Now score goals for your 1st team. As soon as you are winning by a good lead, just switch back to your 1st team.
