Turbo Boost
One of the essential tricks to win tracks is the Turbo Boost. Hold down the A button during the race and drift hard left or hard right holding Z. Let go of both buttons and you will get a nice little boost. Practice the boost until you can do it perfectly -- now you should be able to win without a problem. Turbo Start While at the starting line, press and hold the A and B buttons on your controller. The announcer will say "Set, Ready, Go!". Right after the announcer says "Ready," release the B button; you should blast off to a turbo start.
Get the Prowler
To gain the Prowler aero machine, you need to finish the game in first place on EXPERT difficulty level using the Hornet car.
China Town Jam Track
To get the China Town Jam Track, you must race in Grand Prix mode with the difficulty level set to EXPERT. Beat the game with a first place ranking on each course and the new track will be available.
Turbo While Racing
These tend to be a little trickier than the turbo start. It's all a matter of timing. To turbo during the race, you must be holding down the A button (for acceleration). Next, make either a hard left or right while holding the Z button, then release both buttons. Immediately after releasing the buttons, tap the A button once or repeatedly. Your speed and vehicle temp. should increase. Keep in mind you have to do this quickly in order for it to be successful, and it may take a few attempts to master. Using the turbo feature can be a big part of winning. You should try to turbo as often as possible without overheating.; it is much more effective around turns.

Gain Extra Tracks & Vehicles Code
To do this trick you must have two controllers and very flexible fingers. Using controller 2, go to the title screen. Press and hold the D-pad Up. At the same time (still using controller 2), press and hold R + L + Z + C down, then release them all. Next, press the Start button on controller 1; the extra tracks and vehicles will then reveal themselves.
Get the Dominator
To get the Dominator aero machine, you need to finish the game in first place on Expert difficulty level using the Black Lighting.
All Tracks and All Vehicles
In order to get this to work, you need two controllers plugged in. 1. Turn on the game and press Start on controller one until you see the screen that says "Push Start" (if you see "Grand Prix Mode," you're too far). 2. On controller 2, press Up on the D-Pad, C-Down, R, L, and Z all at the same time. Then release them. 3. Immediately press Start or the A-Button on Controller 1 to enter the Grand Prix mode. All tracks and cars should now be available (in all modes). If you can't get this trick to work (it took us a couple of tries, too), do step 2 a couple of times (press all the buttons a few times). Change Vehicle Color
When you are selecting your vehicle, press the R button to change the vehicle's color! Each vehicle has 2 colors to choose from, except the N64 controller can choose from 6 deferent colors!
Drive the N64 Controller
To get this cool hidden bonus vehicle, an N64 Controller, choose the Time Attack Mode. If you get a race time that ends in point zero six four seconds (.064), the Control Pad will become available. Tough.
Get the Vengeance
To gain the Vengeance aero machine, you need to finish the game in first place on EXPERT difficulty level using the Avenger.
Secret Cars
To race as one of four secret cars, finish a race with the time exactly 64:00. Since it has to be exact by the 100th getting the any of the secret cars is a matter of luck. Repeat this to get the other secret cars.
Get the Reaper
To gain the cool Reaper aero machine, you need to finish the game in first place on EXPERT difficulty level using the Shredder car.
Neo Speed Way Track
To get the Neo Speed Way Track, you must race in Grand Prix mode with the difficulty level set to INTERMEDIATE. Beat the game with a first place ranking on each course and the new track will be available.
All Tracks and Vehicles
While the game is turning on, hold Start on controller 1 until the Push Start screen
appears. Then, on controller 2, press Up on the D-Pad + C-Down + R + L + Z, then release. Immediately press Start or A on controller 1 to enter the Grand Prix mode.
